Yorkshire Vikings have confirmed that Friday evening's NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Lancashire Lightning at Headingley is a 16,200 sell-out.
After securing a dramatic victory over the Lightning at Emirates Old Trafford earlier this month, extra restricted-view tickets were released for the encounter.
And, with the White Rose faithful keen to see their side complete a North Group double over their Roses rivals, these have now been purchased.
"We could have sold another 5,000 tickets for this match,” said Yorkshire chief executive Mark Arthur.
“The interest in the game has been phenomenal. The ground has been 95 percent sold out for two weeks.
“Selling out the game at Headingley is a massive achievement and is a great effort by the club, our staff and the players, in particular, for putting in some strong performances
“The message to all supporters is get to the ground early. It will be busy and there will be a strain on the turnstiles, especially in the half hour building up to the start of the match.
"Gates open at 4pm so we are urging spectators to get in early to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.”
