4.51pm - Kent enforce the follow-on after dismissing Derbyshire for 115. Mark Footitt smashes a six off Adam Riley, who immediately responds by removing the tail-ender for 14. Kent's first innings lead is 218 runs.
Northants are in a real mess. Ben Duckett lasts two balls before Smith removes him as well.

4.47pm - Northamptonshire's day just keeps on getting worse. Rob Newton is out for 2, chopping on to Tom Smith, and Division One's basement boys are 54 for four. At the Kia Oval, Jade Dernbach traps Ned Eckersley lbw for four, leaving Leicestershire 49 for two in response to 522 for nine.
4.39pm - Finch departs for 110, caught one-handed by Tim Ambrose off the bowling of Boyd Rankin.
Durham lose their first wicket with 35 on the board as Mark Stoneman edges Jon Lewis to James Tredwell at second slip.
Glamorgan have shrugged off the loss of two set batsmen to move their total beyond 500.

4.32pm - Richard Pyrah goes to a fifty soon after Yorkshire secure their fourth batting bonus point. They have a lead of 130 with five wickets in hand.
4.24pm - Norwell makes it two wickets in as many overs by removing Cooke.
Yorkshire and Warwickshire are back out after tea which means we have action in all seven matches.
4.14pm - Chris Cooke brings up his half-century but Glamorgan lose their fifth wicket when James Allenby is caught at deep square-leg off Liam Norwell for 57. They are now 480 for five, 89 runs ahead of Gloucestershire.
Buoyed by his career-best knock with the bat, Chris Tremlett has Matthew Boyce caught behind for two to leave Leicestershire 26 for one.
And that's tea: Excellent session for Yorkshire, who are 345-5 from 88 overs = a lead of 117. Finch 103, Pyrah 43, partnership of 103.

3.58pm - Aaron Finch goes to his first Yorkshire hundred off 128 balls and celebrates by kissing the white rose on his helmet. He has hit nine fours and three sixes so far to put his side in a commanding position.
Ben Stokes takes the final wicket of Lewis Hatchett to finish with 7-67 as Sussex are bowled out for 205.
All the matches have reached tea except the one at Edgbaston.
3.45pm - Marcus North becomes the eighth Derbyshire wicket to fall, while Northants are three down with Matthew Spriegel edging Simon Kerrigan behind.
Tea is taken at Trent Bridge and the Kia Oval.
3.40pm - Well Nottinghamshire's tail did not wag. Overton removes Andre Adams and then Dockrell ousts Peter Siddle. However, the damage was done earlier. Notts score 461 and lead by 293.
Jim Allenby has a fifty for Glamorgan, who are 475 for four at tea.
3.30pm - Ben Stokes takes a sixth scalp, Jon Lewis caught behind by Phil Mustard, to leave Sussex nine down. Nottinghamshire lose an eighth with Overton pouncing to remove Chris Read for two.

3.26pm - Patel falls six short of a ton! A fine knock comes to an end when he edges Craig Overton behind. Notts' lead is 283.
John Hastings has a second scalp for Durham, leaving Sussex 176 for eight. Steve Magoffin is out for five, however Luke Wright is offering resistance at the other end and has reached a half-century.

3.11pm - Wilson ends unbeaten on a career-best 160 as Surrey declare on 522 for nine. Jade Dernbach added 23 at the Kia Oval and will now be tasked with causing damage with the ball.
Wessels just can't get a hundred! His last championship game saw him score 71 and 74 not out, and the two NatWest T20 Blast games since have returned 66 and 95 not out. Today, he departs for 74, falling to George Dockrell after a 161-run stand with Patel.

2.48pm - Derbyshire are six down. Darren Stevens picks up a second scalp, with Alex Hughes failing to score, before Riley accounts for Gareth Cross. The deficit is a huge 277.
Northants lose another! James Middlebrook, who went for 0-115 from his 23 overs earlier, is out for nought. Chapple has a second.
Samit Patel reaches a fifty. His stand with Wessels is worth 135 as Nottinghamshire secure maximum batting points.

2.39pm - That's not the start Northamptonshire needed. Glen Chapple takes just three balls to remove Stephen Peters, with no runs yet on the board.
When Aaron Finch signed for Yorkshire, many were looking forward to his exploits in the NatWest T20 Blast, but his four-day talents have been just as impressive. He's reached a half-century at Edgbaston, his second for the White Rose.
Derbyshire are in real trouble, on 53 for four, as Scott Elstone falls victim to Adam Riley.
Glamorgan 394-4 in 107th over, leading Gloucestershire by three runs. Cooke 22 not out, Allenby 8 not out.

2.30pm - Lancashire declare on 650 for six. Prince leaves the field to huge applause after an unbeaten 257. Remember, when he came to the crease yesterday morning his side were 29 for two, which soon became 33 for three.
2.20pm - Jonny Bairstow is unable to reach a hundred for the second successive championship game as he is bowled by Boyd Rankin for 68, with Yorkshire leading by 14.
Ashwell Prince shows no signs of getting bored. He's now up to a career-best 256, though Tom Smith at the other end is out for 79, bowled by Matthew Spriegel.
At Trent Bridge, Riki Wessels has compiled a half-century. Their first innings lead is approaching 200 with five wickets left.

2.02pm - Wilson is not distracted by the demise of his partner and he goes on to reach three figures for the third time in his first-class career.
Derbyshire are 37 for two, with Paul Borrington dismissed for eight.
1.57pm - Heartbreak for Chris Tremlett! He falls 10 runs short of a maiden career century as Ben Raine performs the role of party-pooper. As gutted as Tremlett will be, his stand of 192 with Gary Wilson has put Surrey in a superb position.
Tom Smith is the fourth consecutive Lancashire batsman to reach a fifty. The Red Rose are closing in on 600. Northamptonshire's punishment continues.
1.44pm - The lunch break does the trick at Bristol. Jacques Rudolph, whose stand with Ben Wright was worth 158 runs, is out for 139 as Matt Taylor strikes.
Derbyshire also lose an early wicket with Stephen Moore nicking Doug Bollinger behind.

1.15pm - Here is a round-up of the state of play in our seven LV= County Championship matches at lunch.
Lancashire piled on 174 runs in 32 overs this morning as Ashwell Prince reached his first championship double century while Jos Buttler clubbed 87 from 91 balls. Lancs are 558 for five against Northamptonshire at Emirates Old Trafford.
Ben Stokes grabbed four morning-session wickets to steal the advantage back Durham’s way to leave Sussex 91 for five at the Emirates Durham ICG.
Somerset enjoyed a better morning but Nottinghamshire are still very much in control at 279 for five after rain forced a slightly early lunch. The hosts lead by 111 runs.
Yorkshire are 211 for four to be 17 runs adrift of Warwickshire’s first-innings total with Jonny Bairstow a run short of a half-century at Edgbaston.
Division Two
Gary Wilson and Chris Tremlett batted through the session and their record-breaking eight-wicket stand is now worth 173 runs. Surrey are 416 for seven with both men in sight of centuries against Leicestershire.
Gloucestershire also failed to take a wicket this morning as Ben Wright followed Jacques Rudolph in bringing up three figures. Glamorgan are 339 for two at Bristol.
Kent were bowled out for 333, following a 59-run ninth wicket stand between Robbie Joseph and Adam Ball. Derbyshire are 18 for none in reply.

12.45pm - If you can believe it, it is raining at Trent Bridge. They are, therefore, going to take a slightly early lunch with Notts 279 for five. Not a bad morning for Somerset then after a day to forget yesterday. Notts added 71 runs for the loss of four wickets.
12.40pm - Stokes has three wickets this morning. Rory Hamilton-Brown is caught behind before the England all-rounder finds Ed Joyce's stumps. Sussex are 75 for four.

12.23pm - Prince reaches his double century. A marvellous innings from the former South Africa batsman. He turns away a single to reach the landmark from 275 balls and including 20 fours. How far away is the Lancs declaration? Do they want a couple of overs at Northants before lunch?
12.19pm - Chris Nash falls to Paul Coughlin as Paul Collingwood snaps up the catch. Sussex are 68 for two.
Surrey's eighth-wicket partnership between Tremlett and Wilson is now worth 142, which is a record against Leicestershire.

Prince is not far from his double century, too, so perhaps a declaration might be forthcoming soon after both men reach their landmarks. Lancashire are 501 for four and have added 117 in 17 overs today.
12.07pm - David Wainwright has broken that pesky ninth-wicket stand between Ball and Joseph at the Spitfire Ground. The spinner turns one through Ball, but not before they put on 59 together.
12.03pm - Ben Stokes grabs the first wicket of the morning session at the Emirate Durham ICG. Scott Borthwick holds a sharp chance and Luke Wells has to go for 20.
Tremlett, meanwhile, has gone to his highest-first class score - 65. Surely he can't make a ton? Can he?
12.01pm - Gloucestershire have just reported that the scans on skipper Michael Klinger's toe have revealed a suspected break. They are set to assess the injury further this afternoon. Bad news for them as their bowlers toil away.

11.51am - Ben Wright has reached his half-century from 70 balls as Glamorgan pile up the runs. Wright's stand with Jacques Rudolph is closing in on 100.
Kent tailenders Adam Ball and Robbie Joseph continue to frustrate Derbyshire as their ninth-wicket alliance has contributed 50. Kent are 299 for eight.
11.46am - Ashwell Prince has moved to 176 - that's his highest first-class score in England - and his stand with Jos Buttler is also worth 50 runs.

11.39am - Gary Wilson and Chris Tremlett have both completed their half-centuries in the opening half-hour. The Surrey skipper then sent Jigar Naik to the rope to take their eighth-wicket stand beyond 100.
The runs also continue to flow at Edgbaston with new man Jonny Bairstow pulling Rankin for six. Yorkshire have added 52 in 10 overs today.
11.22am - Gale's desire to get things moving quickly at Edgbaston has cost him. The Yorkshire skipper top-edges a pull at Wright and Warwickshire keeper Tim Ambrose gets under the skier. Gale falls one short of a half-century after adding 18 runs in quick time this morning.
11.17am - Lancashire have struggled with the bat at times this season, but they've just ticked past 400 to collect a fifth batting point.

11.12am - After a horror day yesterday, Somerset have made a good start by removing centurion Phil Jaques. Craig Meschede makes the breakthrough as Nick Compton holds on to the catch at point. Jaques will be disappointed to depart so early this morning, but his 113 has entrenched Notts as outright favourites to win this one even at this early stage.
11.07am - A great start for Yorkshire at Edgbaston as Andrew Gale drives Chris Wright for a pair of boundaries in the first over. Alex Lees then pulls Boyd Rankin for two more fours in the next.

10.39am - Welcome to today's live coverage of the seven LV= County Championship matches. Another day of cracking weather awaits and the cricket should be no different either.
Division One
Nottinghamshire will look to press home their advantage after Phil Jaques' unbeaten 111 helped them to 208 for one last night. That represents a lead of 40 runs over Somerset who were skittled for 168 on day one at Trent Bridge.
Ashwell Prince will resume on 161 after his record-breaking day alongside Steven Croft ensured Lancashire enjoyed a profitable first day against Northamptonshire to close on 384 for four.
Yorkshire are 82 for two and looking to reel in Warwickshire's 228 at Edgbaston in a clash between two title chasers.
Durham made 337 after winning the toss against Sussex at the Emirates Durham ICG, with the visitors to start again this morning on 20 without loss.
Division Two
Jacques Rudolph is unbeaten on 108 as Glamorgan moved to 209 for two in reply to Gloucestershire’s 391 at the halfway mark of a tight contest at Bristol.
Surrey are 325 for seven after choosing to bat against Leicestershire at the Kia Oval, with Gary Wilson and Chris Tremlett’s eighth-wicket stand currently worth 82 runs.
Kent are 259 for eight against Derbyshire at Canterbury, with Tony Palladino’s five-for and Daniel Bell-Drummond’s century keeping things finely poised.
