The Jolly’s Drinks ECB Cornwall Premier League leaders St Just pulled off an amazing win at Grampound Road.
Grampound Road scored 302 for three with Tom Hughes 116 not out from 129 balls with 14 fours and three sixes and David Hoskings making 94. St Just replied with 308 for eight to win by two wickets but not until the very last over. Harry Medhurst hit 106, his third consecutive century.
Camborne beat Truro by 62 runs. Camborne made 211 with Kelvin Snell taking 5-47. Truro were 149 all out with Matt Rowe picking up 5-44.
St Austell won at Redruth by nine runs. St Austell made 169 all out and Redruth ended up 160 all out.
Callington were shot out for 92 at Werrington with Sam Hockin taking 5-54, Werrington went on to win by seven wickets.
There was a draw at Newquay where Usman Arshad made 115 in Newquay’s 259 foer eight. Guy Leathley took 5-58. Falmouth responded with 208 for seven with Anup Revandkar 112 not out.
