Durham Jets can call on bowler Usman Arshad for the NatWest T20 Blast clash with Leicestershire Foxes.
Arshad, who has taken seven wickets in five outings this season, has recovered from injury and takes his place in head coach Jon Lewis’ 14-man squad.
Paul Coughlin could make his T20 debut after being named in the Jets’ squad for the first time.
Lewis' side have won two and lost three of their first five outings and will need an improvement if they are to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Leicestershire travel north to the Emirates Durham ICG having been in action on Thursday night when they lost to Nottinghamshire Outlaws by 24 runs in a high-scoring contest.
Greg Smith hit a Twenty20 career-best 102 from 54 balls, which included 13 four and four sixes, to get his side close.
Leading wicket-taker Nathan Buck returned to the squad after a finger injury, and while he took 0-60 from his four overs he might be better for the run out.
* Leicestershire won five of their first six Twenty20 matches against Durham but have lost eight of the 10 completed meetings since.
