4.27pm - Durham strike and are back in the box seat as Ali is caught at short-leg off the bowling of John Hastings. Simon Kerrigan joins Buttler, who is three runs short of his century, with the new ball due.
Tim Bresnan has been given a life against Sussex, Rory Hamilton-Brown dropping him at slip off the bowling of James Tredwell.

3.47pm - The players have gone to tea at Durham with the match on a knife edge. Lancashire only have two wickets in the bank with another 64 runs required for victory. Importantly, Buttler is still there on 92 and is a player tailor made for this situation.

WICKET! A beauty by @johnhastings194, who beats the defensive shot from Hogg to clip off-stump. 269-8 now, two more needed...

Stokes has his second scalp at Emirates Durham ICG as Glen Chapple is caught behind. The equation is now 71 runs needed for Lancashire with three wickets remaining.

Lancashire are rebuilding nicely through Buttler, who is 22 runs short of his own ton, and Tom Smith. They have put on 36 and the visitors now need 101 runs for victory at Emirates Durham ICG.
2.38pm - RESULT! Worcestershire (237 & 444/8d) have defeated Leicestershire (278 & 169) by 234 runs at Grace Road - It was the Ajmal show after lunch. He took six wickets in seven overs to run through the hosts and move his side to within one point of Division Two leaders Hampshire.

2.28pm - Relief for Durham as Croft is caught at deep midwicket off Ben Stokes for 72. Lancashire now need 135 runs with five wickets remaining.
Meanwhile, Ajmal has taken his afternoon haul to four with the wicket of Ben Raine. It could have been a quick-fire five-for, but for a dropped catch off his own bowling.
2.17pm - Ajmal has taken two wickets in an over - first bowling Dan Redfern and then having Ramnaresh Sarwan caught at short leg by Matt Pardoe - to leave Worcestershire on the brink of victory.
Warwickshire are also one step closer to picking up a valuable win after Chris Wright had Ben Duckett caught at slip by Will Porterfield.

1.22pm - Here is a wrap of the state of play from around the country at lunch:
Division One
Durham look like they will be made to sweat for a first win of the campaign as Lancashire are 165 for four and have reduced the ask to 175 runs to win at Emirates Durham ICG.
Warwickshire need five more wickets to secure a innings win over Northamptonshire, who are 114 for five and 176 runs behind.
Jack Leaning fell just a run short of a maiden championship century as Yorkshire progressed to 274 for five on day three against Sussex at Arundel.
Division Two
Surrey knocked off the 21 runs they needed this morning in 23 minutes to secure an overdue away win by 10 wickets over Derbyshire at the 3aaa County Ground.
Leicestershire came out with the intention of trying to reel in the 404 they need to claim an unlikely win over Worcestershire at Grace Road. Four morning-session wickets have undermined that bid as they reached lunch at 136 for four.
1.15pm - RESULT! Glamorgan (527) have defeated Kent (253 & 263) by an innings and 11 runs at the SWALEC Stadium - Hogan wraps up the game after Glamorgan took the extra half hour. Robbie Jospeh offers a catch to Jim Allenby who holds on.
WICKET! Hogan celebrates as he bowls Ball. 241/9 now, Hogan bowling at new man Joseph… #GoGlam
— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) June 18, 2014
12.53pm - Steven Croft has moved to his half-century from 66 balls and Lancashire are just about retaining belief they could yet chase down this target. They need 187 runs with six wickets and just over two sessions to go. It's definitely possible.
Adam Ball has also reaches fifty just before lunch for Kent. They need 33 runs to avoid an innings defeat at Glamorgan with just two wickets left.
Two fearsome strikes from Buttler off Borthwick. Six over long-on and four through covers. It's 146-4, 194 more to win. #DurvLancs
— Lancashire CCC (@LancsCCC) June 18, 2014
12.39pm - Magoffin traps fellow Aussie Aaron Finch on the crease and the umpire's finger is raised. Yorkshire are 267 for five - trailing by 49 runs.
Warwickshire are edging closer to an innings win over Northamptonshire. Jeetan Patel has both wickets this morning - for figures of 2/10. Rob Newton is his latest victim caught behind by Tim Ambrose. Northants have lost half their wickets and need another 187 runs to make the Bears bat again.
WICKET - Newton ct Ambrose bowled Patel for 2. Northants 90-5 and trailing the Bears First innings total by 200 #YouBears

— Glamorgan Cricket (@GlamCricket) June 18, 2014
12.15pm - A fourth wicket of the morning for Worcestershire. Josh Cobb somehow manages to squeeze a Leach delivery back on to his stumps. The Foxes bravely sought to run down the score at the start of the day. They may well be forced into a rearguard now.
12.09pm - Steve Magoffin finds Leaning's inside-edge, but the ball flies away to the boundary and the Yorkshire youngster is in the 90s. That is also the 100-run stand with Bairstow.
Bairstow brings up his half-century by clipping Lewis Hatchett to the rope. Next ball he top-edges a pull for six.
Wicket - Middlebrook is caught off Patel for 50. Northants are 82/4 #GoSteelbacks
— Northants Cricket (@NorthantsCCC) June 18, 2014
12.01pm - Ashwell Prince departs for Lancashire. Paul Coughlin strangles him down the leg side and any lingering hope of an unlikely chase that Lancashire might have had at the start of the day is disappearing.
Leicestershire's bold bid is also faltering. Eckersley is trapped lbw by Shantry.
11.48pm - Worcestershire do get a second wicket now. An over after they thought they had caught Eckersley his partner Greg Smith does depart - lbw to Jack Shantry.
Play is due to resume between Sussex and Yorkshire at noon, so they would have been off for just over 20 minutes.

11.41am - Ned Eckersley has been reprieved. He edged Joe Leach to Tom Kohler-Cadmore in the slips. Worcestershire were happy it carried, but after having a chat the umpires are not. Leicestershire are 73 for one and going for this. Saeed Ajmal may have something to say later.
11.39am - The rain has sent the players off at Arundel. Yorkshire have progressed to 235 for three with Jack Leaning having to wait a little longer for that maiden championship ton. He's on 89.
Drizzle in the air again but Leaning hits Hatchett for two successive fours through extra cover to move onto 88. Yorkshire 232/3 #GOSBTS

11.22am - Glamorgan have another. Looks like we'll have a few finishes this morning. Graham Wagg finds the edge of Sam Billings and Kent are three wickets away from an innings defeat.
11.19am - Leicestershire have sprung out of the traps this morning with 30 runs in the first four overs. They look like they are going for this target of 404, although Worcestershire have checked their early start as Angus Robson chops on. The Foxes are 50 for one.

11.08am - Michael Hogan strikes early at the SWALEC Stadium and Glamorgan are now just four wickets away from victory. It's a big wicket too as Darren Stevens falls for 60 offering a catch to Ben Wright.
Durham's bid for a first win of the campaign has also got off to a good start as Chris Rushworth finds the edge of Usman Khawaja - who batted well in the first innings. Rushworth has all three Lancashire wickets to fall so far.
Smith hits 3 fours in the first over of the day. Is the chase on? Leics 32-0
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) June 18, 2014
11am - The players are out on the field at Arundel where there is a bit of drizzle about. Hopefully that clears and there will be no delay.
