With only a few hundred single tickets remaining for the NatWest T20 Blast match against Lancashire Lightning at Headingley on Friday 27 June, Yorkshire have released a number of restricted view seats at £10 each.
Ticket sales have soared since the Vikings defeated Lancashire in a thrilling contest at Emirates Old Trafford 10 days ago and Yorkshire will be looking to put the house full signs up in the next few days, announcing 16,500 sell-out at Headingley.
“This will be the second successive year that we have sold out the biggest derby match in domestic cricket,” said Yorkshire chief executive Mark Arthur.
“The demand for tickets has been incredible. Since defeating Lancashire last week, the ticket office has done brisk business. There is genuine interest in the match from around the country and we have seen people snapping tickets up as far south as Brighton.
“The public want to be part of this game and the unique rivalry between the two giants of English cricket.
“The atmosphere at Headingley is going to be electric it should be another fabulous advert for the NatWest T20 Blast competition.”
