Darren Stevens rolled back the years with both ball and bat in the NatWest T20 Blast, but his efforts were only enough to help Kent Spitfires to a breathtaking tie at Glamorgan.
The 38-year-old was clearly the pick of the attack with 3-22 and then lit up the SWALEC Stadium with the bat in Kent’s pursuit of 178 by plundering 71 off just 39 balls.
While his efforts left the Spitfires on the brink of victory, with just three needed off the final over, Michael Hogan claimed two wickets before Doug Bollinger was run out off the final ball as the spoils were shared.
