North Group
Sixties from Daryl Mitchell and Colin Munro enabled leaders Worcestershire Rapids to hold off Derbyshire Falcons.
On-loan Richard Jones takes 5-34 on Leicestershire Foxes debut, but Lancashire Lightningprevailed to stay second.
Yorkshire Vikings, whose 181 for three was the highest score of the night, avenged their opening-round defeat to holders Northants Steelbacks as Jonny Bairstow’s unbeaten 60 had more impact than Richard Levi’s 76.
Birmingham Bears silenced Notts Outlaws home supporters with a fairly straightforward win.
South Group
Eagles Eagles comfortably chased 163 to beatGloucestershire and go top of the table as Ravi Bopara’s 66 not out trumped Hamish Marshall’s 74.
Previous leaders Hampshire lost at Somerset by just one run with fifties from Craig Kieswetter and Peter Trego proving decisive.
Third-placed Glamorgan tied with Kent Spitfires as Darren Stevens’ 71 was not entirely rewarded in Kent’s pursuit of 178.
SurreythumpedSussex Sharks by 10 wickets thanks to unbeaten half-centuries from Jason Roy and Hashim Amla.
9.47pm – RESULT! Worcestershire Rapids (177/5) hold off Derbyshire Falcons (169/8) by eight runs at the 3aaa County Ground. Chris Russell strikes with the game’s last two balls to make it three in the over and to earn figures of 4-40.

9.39pm – In the one remaining game, Jack Shantry ousts Madsen for 65, leaving Derbyshire needing 19 from nine balls with five wickets left.
9.34pm – RESULT! Essex Eagles (163/2) beat Gloucestershire (162/6) by eight wickets at the Essex County Ground. Tom Westley and Bopara share an unbroken stand of 112 to complete the chase with nine balls unused. Westley hit 55 and Bopara 68.
9.27pm – Ravi Bopara and Wayne Madsen speed to half-centuries, both from 31 balls to respectively keep Essex and Derbyshire on course for victory.
9.25pm – RESULT! Glamorgan (177/7) tie with Kent Spitfires (177/9) at the SWALEC Stadium. With three needed from the last over, Michael Hogan snares two scalps in two deliveries and continues to keep it tight before Doug Bollinger is run out from the last ball. Amazing scenes in south Wales!

9.13pm – RESULT! Lancashire Lightning (166/7) see off Leicestershire Foxes (157/7) by nine runs at Emirates Old Trafford. Junaid’s late wickets prove crucial as the Red Rose county prevails.

8.54pm – RESULT! Surrey (149/0) thrash Sussex Sharks (148/5) by 10 wickets at the Kia Oval. Roy’s 81 and 61 from Amla see Surrey home with a massive 27 balls to spare.
Darren Stevens raises a fifty, keeping Kent in it, but Levi falls to Azeem Rafiq for 76 as Northants stutter.

8.51pm – RESULT! Birmingham Bears (156/5) defeat Notts Outlaws (138/7) by 18 runs at Trent Bridge. The hosts fall well short as Jeetan Patel, although wicketless, proves particularly miserly.
8.48pm – Hashim Amla follows Roy to a half-century as Surrey cruise towards their target.
8.39pm – Notts lose a flurry of wickets, including two in a Recordo Gordon over.
Lancashire are on top of Leicestershire and Glamorgan are dominating Kent.

8.26pm – RESULT! Somerset (176/4) beat Hampshire (175/7) by one run at Taunton. The visitors needed 34 from the last two overs and Will Smith’s three sixes took them close, but that man Thomas closes out the narrowest of wins.
8.22pm – Gloucestershire set Essex 163 for victory. Their 162 for six was built on Marshall’s 74.

7.59pm - Mitchell and Hamish Marshall have half-centuries for Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. Their sides are 145 for three and 122 for five respectively.
Hampshire need 64 from the final six overs having recently lost Owais Shah in the deep for 22.

7.56pm - MASSIVE OVER FROM SHOAIB MALIK! The Bears are back in it as their Pakistan all-rounder gets the better of Hales and Lumb in the space of three balls. James Taylor and Samit Patel must rebuild for the Outlaws.
7.53pm - Clark and Lilley clatter a six apiece, with the former falling as Lancashire finish on 166 for seven.
Bairstow and Lyth put on an unbeaten 90 and ended on 60 and 46 as Yorkshire thump an imposing 181 for three.
Sammy’s 17-ball 19 at the death helped Glamorgan to 177 for seven.

7.48pm - Five wickets for Richard Jones! What a sensational Foxes debut for the Warwickshire loanee, and his fourth and fifth are massive as Lancashire lose Croft and Buttler from consecutive balls. Jordan Clark and Arron Lilley begin the final over at the crease.
Tim Phillips bowls Benny Howell for 19 and Gloucestershire are 94 for four with eight overs to improve their score. At the SWALEC Stadium, Bollinger sends Graham Wagg back in similar fashion.
Hales cracks back-to-back sixes as Boyd Rankin drops short and the Outlaws are motoring.
Worcestershire are 119 for three after Colin Munroe’s blistering 65 comes to a close down at third man.
7.42pm - James Tredwell removes Cooke for a brisk 34 but Kent will be dreading the prospect of Darren Sammy going hell-for-leather in the closing two overs.
Yorkshire are 162 for three with 10 balls to go, in which time Bairstow and Adam Lyth could both register fifties.
7.40pm - Tidy start from England duo Alex Hales and Michael Lumb for Notts. They’re 21 without loss after three, chasing 157.

5.39pm - Leicestershire have bolstered their bowling resources and will be able to call on Richard Jones at Emirates Old Trafford after signing the seamer on a one-month loan deal from Warwickshire.
Jones’s namesake Chris is the first man to go for Somerset. Chris Wood rearranged his poles and the hosts are 24 for one after a miserly third over from Kyle Abbott.
