Stone continue to lead the way in the top flight after a six-wicket victory over Porthill Park in the North Staffordshire & South Cheshire League.
Visitors Porthill Park mustered 115 for nine from their rain-reduced 37 overs, a total of which opener Ryan Hassett made a patient 42.
Left-arm spinner Steve Morgan picked up 4-21, while in-form seamer Matthew Coxon weighed in with 4-38 to ensure Porthill Park were kept on a tight rein.
The weather intervened to make Stone's run chase more difficult as they were afforded only 19 overs to reach their target.
James Dawson's 29 at the top of the order got them off to a good start, but it was former Staffordshire colleagues Richard Harvey and David Womble who combined to see the leaders past the post with an over to spare.
Harvey finished unbeaten on 28, while Womble blazed 24 not out from nine deliveries to ensure the leaders pocketed the points.
Knypersley remain second, eight points behind Stone, after their own fine run chase saw them beat Little Stoke by eight wickets.
Little Stoke's 25 overs at the crease yielded 125 for nine, with James Ecclestone (26) and Rob King (24) providing the principal contributions.
Dan Cumming (5-49) and Nayyar Abbas (3-61) bowled unchanged throughout the innings to good effect.
Knypersley had to contend with losing six overs in their reply, but it made little difference as they won with six balls to spare.
And it was young left-hander Jake Thompson who was the hero of the hour as he made 68 not out, blasting seven fours and two sixes from among the 49 deliveries he faced. Opener Dan Ball also played his part with 26.
Champions Leek drew their encounter with Hem Heath at Highfield.
Hem Heath were skittled for 117 as seam duo Greg Willott and Nadeem Malik claimed figures of 5-48 and 4-67 respectively.
Abdul Razzaq (23), John Cheadle (22) and Liam Banks (21) were the main performers with the bat for the visitors.
Leek ultimately had 23 overs to chase down their target and had made their way to 70 for five at stumps.
Alex Mellor top-scored with 26, with Tom East's 3-35 and Razzaq's 2-20 hampering the Moorlanders' hopes of victory.
The matches between Burslem and Wood Lane, Checkley and Longton and Whitmore's home clash with Meakins were all abandoned without a ball being bowled because of the day's heavy rain.
