No play was possible on the third day of four in Sri Lanka's tour match against Northamptonshire due to a sodden outfield at Wantage Road.
Play was called off for the day shortly after midday, with no prospect of the teams taking to the field.
Should the match resume tomorrow, it will do so at 10.30am with the county side 146 for five in response to the tourists' imposing 558 for eight declared, which was built around centuries from Kaushal Silva and acting captain Lahiru Thirimanne. Dhammika Prasad will be looking to add to the two wickets he has taken so far.
