Sussex have suffered a blow with the news that Michael Yardy will be occupying the sidelines for around a month with a torn bicep muscle.
The former England all-rounder sustained the injury during last Friday’s NatWest T20 Blast South Group fixture against Glamorgan.
Sussex are hopeful Yardy will return to LV= County Championship action primarily as a batsman in around four weeks, but he will not be able to bowl until a later date.
