No play was possible between Leicestershire and Gloucestershire on day three of their LV= County Championship Division Two clash due to heavy rain at Grace Road.
A heavy downpour in the morning put the day’s play in jeopardy and with standing water on the outfield umpires David Millns and Martin Saggers gave up hope just before 2pm.
The match is evenly poised with Leicestershire 12 for none in their second innings, a lead of 21 runs.
The hosts hit 269 first time around with Gloucestershire replying with 260 after on-loan former England wicketkeeper Geraint Jones top-scored with 93.
Play has been abandoned for the day
