Yorkshire batsman Gary Ballance has been awarded an England increment contract for 2013-14.
Ballance qualifies by virtue of playing one Test and four one-day internationals against Australia, an ODI against Scotland and three ODIs against Sri Lanka during the current contract period, reaching the 20-point mark during the ODI against Sri Lanka at Old Trafford.
Non-contracted players can earn an England increment contract via a points system.
Five points are awarded for a Test appearance and two for a T20 or ODI appearance, with an increment contract being awarded automatically once the player reaches 20 points during the 12-month contract period.
