Somerset all-rounder Josh Davey has been recalled to the Scotland squad for the Royal London One-Day International against England on May 9 in Aberdeen.

The party, captained by Northamptonshire’s Kyle Coetzer, also includes seamer Alasdair Evans as well as Aberdonian’s Michael Leask and Matthew Cross.

Craig Wright continues to take charge of Scotland until July 1, when he becomes new head coach Grant Bradburn’s assistant.

Wright, who helped Scotland qualify for the 2015 World Cup alongside former England all-rounder Paul Collingwood, said: “The match against England is a wonderful opportunity for us to continue the progress which the team made in New Zealand earlier this year.

“The challenge for us regardless of the opposition is to continue to display the strong, positive mentality which was the cornerstone of our recent success.

“I hope the occasion is a memorable one for Scottish cricket”.
