6.43pm – It’s been an incredible day of LV= County Championship action, not forgetting that Warwickshire yesterday beat Nottinghamshire. Here’s today’s final scores:
Middlesex (123 & 472/3) beatYorkshire (178 & 416) by seven wickets at Lord’s. Chris Rogers’ stunning 241 not out sensationally guided his side to victory.
Northamptonshire (164 & 179) lostto Lancashire (119 and 284) by 60 runs at Wantage Road. James Anderson’s five wickets in each innings proved telling.
Sussex (142 & 219) lost to Somerset (372) by an innings and 11 runs at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground. Lewis Gregory made it nine scalps in the match.
Worcestershire (432/9d) beat Derbyshire (219 & 149) by an innings and 64 runs at New Road. Saeed Ajmal’s four strikes in each innings, on his first appearance of the season, did for Derbyshire.
Leicestershire (500 & 179/8d) drew with Glamorgan (359 & 250/7) at Grace Road. Stewart Walters’ unbeaten fifty helped Glamorgan hold on.
Gloucestershire (134 and 251/2d) drew with Essex (305/8d) at Bristol. Alex Gidman and Will Tavare fired unbeaten tons to secure a stalemate.
Hampshire (400/6d) drew with Surrey (99/2) at the Ageas Bowl. Rain ruined this game, but the hosts today gained maximum batting points.
6.27pm – Here’s our video with Chris Rogers, who was unbeaten on 241 as Middlesex amazingly chased 472 to beat Yorkshire.
6.24pm – RESULT! Leicestershire (500 & 179/8d) draw with Glamorgan (359 & 250/7) at Grace Road. Stewart Walters’ rearguard fifty 57 and John Glover’s 19 salvage a draw for the visitors.
6.13pm – Walters has a fifty and there are just a few overs to go. Leicestershire still need three wickets.
5.49pm – Leicestershire are crowding the batsmen with close fielders, having seven round the bat for spinner Naik. There are 10 overs to go at Grace Road.
5.41pm – Stewart Walters and John Glover, Glamorgan’s eighth-wicket pair, are offering stout resistance, facing Ireland and Naik, in the last remaining game.

5.21pm – Graham Wagg is apparently intent on going for Glamorgan’s victory-target of 321, but it proves his undoing. Having just survived when Ned Eckersley cannot hold his aerial sweep, Wagg holes out off Ireland to leave the visitors 204 for seven.
5.12pm – RESULT! Hampshire (400/6d) draw with Surrey (99/2) at the Ageas Bowl. Surrey deny Hampshire a bowling bonus point as Rory Burns ends unbeaten on 53 and Zafar Ansari 14.

4.49pm – Hundred for Tavare!! The 24-year-old replicates team-mate Gidman in reaching the milestone, his second of the season. Gloucestershire lead by 77 now.
Is there a late twist in the tale at Grace Road? Murray Goodwin goes to a half-century, only to be then dismissed by Anthony Ireland, before Jigar Naik traps Jim Allenby in front for a duck. Glamorgan, chasing 321 for victory, are 183 for five.

It is tea at Bristol with Gloucestershire safely working towards a draw against Essex thanks to an unbroken 192-run stand between Alex Gidman and Tavare, who are 95 and 87 not out respectively.

3.28pm – Tavare and Gidman are both creeping up on centuries while their third-wicket stand is now worth 173. Gloucestershire therefore have a lead of 20 and Essex's hopes of victory appear to have gone.
3.21pm – RESULT! Worcestershire (432) defeat Derbsyhire (219 & 149) by an innings and 64 runs at New Road. Saeed Ajmal finishes with eight wickets in the match as Worcestershire wrap up a comfortable win at home to Derbyshire.

2.51pm – A blow for Derbyshire shortly after Madsen's half-century as his partner David Wainwright is run out attempting a second. Derbyshire are 130 for seven.
2.50pm – Derbyshire skipper Wayne Madsen is battling hard to try and save the game against Worcestershire. He reaches his half-century from 135 balls. Derbyshire are 129 for six - still 84 runs away from making Worcestershire bat again.
2.36pm – Alex Gidman joins Tavare in reaching a half-century. Their stand is now up to 115 for the third wicket as Gloucestershire continue to keep out Essex.

Chasing 472 to defeat Yorkshire, Middlesex are 230 for one with Chris Rogers on 122.
