Catch up on all the action on day three of the latest LV= County Championship games, with Warwickshire already claiming a resounding victory over Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.

7.09pm – Here’s the close-of-play scores on day three of the latest LV= County Championship action:
Division One
Warwickshire beat Nottinghamshireby 98 runs during the morning session at Trent Bridge. The hosts today lost their last seven wickets for 74 runs as Chris Wright took 4-70.
Chasing 472 to defeat Yorkshire, Middlesex are 230 for one with Chris Rogers on 122 after putting on 181 with Sam Robson. Gary Ballance earlier struck 130 for the White Rose.
Northamptonshire are 145 for five, needing another 95 to beat Lancashire at Wantage Road. James Middlebrook is unbeaten on 78.
Sussex, following on against Somerset are 162 for six with in-form skipper Ed Joyce 76 not out, still 68 behind at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground. The hosts were earlier dismissed for 142 with Lewis Gregory returning 5-49.
Division Two
Essex recovered from 71 for five facing Gloucestershire to close on 305 for eight, a first-innings lead of 171. Ben Foakes, unbeaten on 132, and James Foster shared 218 for the sixth wicket.
Leicestershire are 77 for one in their second innings, 218 ahead of Glamorgan who were today dismissed for 359 at Grace Road.
Moeen Ali made 99 and Alexei Kervezee 110 as Worcestershire reached 432 for nine in reply to Derbyshire’s 219 at New Road.
There was no play today at the Ageas Bowl where Hampshire are289 for three versus Surrey in the game’s first innings.
7.03pm – All the games are over for day three with Essex closing on 305 for eight, a first-innings advantage of 171 over Gloucestershire. Saxelby had David Masters held at point from what became the last ball. Foakes is unbeaten on 132. We’ll soon round up the scores.

6.53pm – They’re done for the day at Wantage Road where Northants are 145 for five, needing another 95 to beat Lancashire. Middlebrook and Ben Duckett, having added 68, are on 78 and 24 respectively.
6.49pm – The action is done for the day at the BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground where Sussex are 162 for six with in-form skipper Ed Joyce 76 not out, his side still 68 behind Somerset while following on.

Footitt doesn’t get a hat-trick but soon sends Saeed Ajmal on his way via a catch at cover.
Shortly after James Foster heralds a fifty, Foakes goes to three figures as Essex’s sixth-wicket pair continues to dominate.
6.05pm – Kervezee goes for 110, the first of Mark Footitt’s two strikes in two balls also including Jack Shantry. Footitt will be on a hat-trick at the start of his next over.
5.57pm – Worcestershire’s Alexei Kervezee brings up a century and Northants’ James Middlebrook a fighting fifty.

After carrying his bat for 55 overs in the first innings, Wells lasts only 13 this time around, providing Nick Compton with a catch off Trego.

Essex are in the midst of a collapse at Bristol. McCarter removes Greg Smith for a duck before Mickleburgh departs lbw to Taylor, leaving James Foster's side 71 for five replying to 134 all out.
Glamorgan are also folding fast at Grace Road. This time, Ireland dismisses John Glover and the visitors are trailing by 211 with just two first-innings wickets remaining.

2.39pm – Stone is ripping through the Lancashire tail at Wantage Road, taking out Kabir Ali's middle stump for his third scalp. Lancashire's lead is 232 with just one wicket remaining. How long will it take for Northamptonshire to wrap up the innings?

Lancashire lose two wickets in three balls, Smith and Glen Chapple departing to Olly Stone. The former's innings of 54 leaves the Red Rose 272 for eight, a lead of 227.
