Barrow gained maximum points from their two matches against Chorley and Lancashire Colts leaving them one point behind early leaders Fleetwood in the Chorley Building Society Northern Premier Cricket League incorporating Readers Cricket Balls.
Barrow reached 190 for eight in their 50 overs against Chorley as Graham Dawson 69 held the innings together. Greg Reynolds made 22 and extras 21 were the other main contributors to their total.
