5.20pm - Dominic Sibley falls for 34 as he picks out Jaik Mickleburgh, who takes a superb catch at gully. The players then head off the field at the Kia Oval due to bad light, but almost as quickly they come straight back, with Monty Panesar bowling.
Glamorgan have lost a third wicket, with Jacques Rudolph caught behind off Will Gidman.
5.15pm - Derbyshire are all out for 399, as Mark Footitt is trapped lbw - by Liam Dawson - without scoring. He had, however, done a good job of giving Groenewald the strike. The 30-year-old hit an unbeaten 56, including two sixes, to push his side's lead up to 71.
WICKET | Naik deserves that - Stevens skies one and Taylor gets underneath it. Kent 248-6 and new ball due soon
— Leicestershire CCC (@leicsccc) April 22, 2014
5.08pm - ecb.co.uk's James O'Brien at Lancashire (247) v Warwickshire (324) : The visitors decided against declaring and batted on, perhaps keen to take their lead beyond 100 and make life difficult for the Lancashire batsmen this evening and in the morning. They could only add eight runs to their overnight total, though, before James Anderson ended the innings in spectacular fashion. Early wickets for Warwickshire could make things interesting, but a draw is the most likely result.

5.03pm - Warwickshire are all out for 324. James Anderson wastes little time wrapping up the Bears' innings. The visitors lead by 77 on first innings.
Glamorgan lose a couple of quick wickets as play resumes at the SWALEC Stadium. James Fuller finds Gareth Rees' edge before cleaning up Stewart Walters two balls later, reducing the hosts to 27 for two.
Derbyshire's Tim Groenewald has completed a quickfire fifty to extend his side's advantage.
That's it I'm afraid - play abandoned for the day. We'll be back tomorrow at 11am
— Durham Cricket Club (@DurhamCricket) April 22, 2014
4.47pm – Sean Ervine snares Mark Turner to leave Derbyshire, who lead Hampshire by 47 on first innings, nine wickets down.
Play finally starts for the day at Emirates Old Trafford, but rain forces the players off at Headingley where Northants are 118 for two.
Glamorgan versus Gloucestershire is set to restart soon.

Smith brings up a half-century as Surrey continue to chip away at Essex's score at the Kia Oval, while tea is taken at Canterbury with the hosts 190 for four.
3.36pm - Or maybe not. The rain has returned to Manchester. It's a frustrating day so far for Peter Moores in his final game in charge of Lancashire.

Here is the run out of Rory Burns for 16 http://t.co/hsqSdmvZt2
— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) April 22, 2014
3.24pm - Bell-Drummond is unable to convert his half-century into a huge score as he becomes Anthony Ireland's third victim of the innings by gloving a short one to slip.
Derbyshire's collapse continues with Wes Durston trapped lbw by Kyle Abbott, who now has three wickets. The hosts at the 3aaa County Ground have slipped from 285 for three to 312 for seven in a little over eight overs.
Wicket. Johnson is caught behind off Abbott for 1. Derbyshire 299-6 (90.3); @Wjdurston3 6*. Trail @hantscricket by 29 #DERvHAM
— Derbyshire CCC (@DerbyshireCCC) April 22, 2014
3.03pm - Rory Burns' solid start at the Kia Oval is undone as he is run out by Ravi Bopara. Burns was sent back by Graeme Smith but some quick thinking from Bopara on his follow-through sent the Surrey opener on his way.
Derbyshire lose another as Chesney Hughes edges to second slip off Tomlinson.
2.57pm - Hampshire take a big wicket at the 3aaa County Ground. Chanderpaul hits successive fours off James Tomlinson to move to 82, but perishes to a catch in the slips from the next delivery. Derbyshire trail by 38 on first innings with six wickets left.
Kent's Bell-Drummond has continued his impressive showing despite seeing Nash depart, bringing up a half-century with a single off Taylor.
Middlebrook edges between second and third slip. Sidebottom the bowler. 47-1.
— Yorkshire CCC (@Yorkshireccc) April 22, 2014
2.49pm - Leicestershire have a long-awaited scalp as Brendan Nash is trapped in front by Rob Taylor. Nash was five runs short of a fifty, while his partnership with Daniel Bell-Drummond was in the 90s. Kent trail by 192 with seven wickets left.
2.45pm - ecb.co.uk's James O'Brien at Lancashire (247) v Warwickshire (316/9): The umpires have decided to take tea at 3.10pm after the start of a clean-up operation was interrupted by the heaviest downpour of the day. The forecast is for brighter weather later this afternoon but it may come too late.
Wicket. @stephen_moore6 's superb innings comes to an end, caught at slip off Abbott for 128. Top knock! Derbyshire 273-3 (83) #DERvHAM

2.30pm - And we have action at the SWALEC Stadium. Glamorgan need one wicket to end the Gloucestershire innings.
2.25pm - And that's not the start Northants would have had in mind. Ryan Sidebottom finds Peters' edge and Andy Hodd does the rest behind the stumps. The visitors are 24 for one.

— Surrey Cricket (@surreycricket) April 22, 2014
2.18pm - And we have action at Headingley. James Middlebrook and Stephen Peters continue their bid to salvage something from the game for Northamptonshire. They need 347 more runs to force the hosts to bat again.
2.10pm - The rain has disappeared at the SWALEC Stadium and they will finally start at 2.30pm. At the Kia Oval the players were taken from the field momentarily as the heavens opened, but it soon passes and play continues with minimum disruption.
Play will resume at 2.15pm
— Northants Cricket (@NorthantsCCC) April 22, 2014
2.05pm - ecb.co.uk's James O'Brien at Lancashire (247) v Warwickshire (316/9): The umpires have been out to have a look on a couple of occasions but the rain quickly returned to scupper any hopes of meaningful inspections. There is a lot of water on the covers so it would take some time to get the ground fit for play should the rain stop and stay away. In summary, it doesn't look as if we'll have any action any time soon.
1.58pm - Shivnarine Chanderpaul has carried on where he left off following the slight delay and has recorded his third half-century of the season.
The mopping up process is in full swing. Prospects of play later look good.

1.01pm – Play starts at the 3aaa County Ground where Derbyshire are 203 for two, 125 behind Hampshire on first innings.
Given the rain disruption, only Leicestershire versus Kent, who are 80 for two in reply to 333, has stopped for lunch at 1pm so we won’t be rounding up the scores as we usually do. Instead, you can read our story on Jesse Ryder signing for Essex .
12.54pm – Essex lose David Masters and Napier in consecutive overs to make them 279 for nine. Chris Tremlett removed Masters for 23, ending a handy stand with Napier, before Dunn made Napier his fourth victim of the innings, for 28.

72.7 - Jesse Ryder was the leading run-scorer in The Ford Trophy 2013/14 - average 72.7 (4 x 50+ scores in seven innings). Signing.

12.07pm – ecb.co.uk's James O'Brien at Lancashire (247) v Warwickshire (316/9): It has been an uneventful morning at Emirates Old Trafford, in contrast to the hive of activity just up the road. Rain has fallen steadily throughout the morning and forced the umpires to take an early lunch at 12.45pm. There is talk of brighter weather on its way so fingers crossed we will have some play this afternoon.

Peters gets a four through gully, which could have been taken by Plunkett off Sidebottom at gully. Tough chance though. 10-0 in the third.
