Charlotte Edwards believes England Women are coming into form at just the right time after recording back-to-back victories in the World Twenty20.
England were a much-improved outfit in beating Bangladesh, racking up 137 for five before restricting the hosts to 58 for nine.
Edwards led the way with 80 at the top of the innings while Danni Hazell and Natalie Sciver shone with the ball, taking 3-4 and 3-10 respectively.
"I think we are getting better with each game, which is a nice place to be in tournament cricket," said Edwards.
"I've played a lot of World Cups and it's about peaking at the right time and I'm confident we are getting better.
"Our bowling and fielding has been outstanding throughout the competition."
Edwards was pleased that batters are getting time at the crease while the skipper has no worries about Sarah Taylor's lack of runs.
"Sciver had time at the wicket, as did [Heather] Knight and [Jenny] Gunn," said Edwards. "We have some world class players within our side. Sarah Taylor is due a knock soon and hopefully that will be on Sunday."
England play Sri Lanka in their final group game this weekend, knowing a win will put them through to the semi-finals.
However, Edwards has suffered at the hands of Sri Lanka before, most notably during last year's World Cup when her side was on the wrong end of a huge upset.
"I'm really pleased with the win today," added Edwards as she reviewed victory over Bangladesh.
"Certainly, after the first seven overs, to post that kind of score and then to be as ruthless as we were with the ball is really pleasing going into a very important match on Sunday.
"We capitalised at the back end of the innings. Sciver played brilliantly with me there to get a good 50-run partnership and that's something we've needed in our games before now.
"There are some pleasing things to come out of today and, moving forward to Sunday, we are in a great place."
