Black Caps and Tigers triumphant

New Zealand and Bangladesh will meet in the Plate final of the Under-19 World Cup following respective victories in Abu Dhabi.

The Black Caps sealed their place courtesy of a comfortable five-wicket victory over hosts United Arab Emirates.

In the day’s other game, West Indies secured a place in the fifth-place play-off final by beating Afghanistan by nine runs at Dubai.

Fabian Allen’s 94-ball 92 helped the Windies to a total of 215 all out, which their opponents fell short of when being skittled for 206.
