The England and Wales Cricket Board today announced a 15-man England Under-19s squad under the captaincy of Yorkshire’s Will Rhodes for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup in the UAE next month.
England will begin with a game against hosts UAE at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on 14 February before playing Sri Lanka and New Zealand in the other group stage matches in Dubai.
If England progress further they could then go on to face one of 15 other countries in the latter stages of the tournament.
EDP Head Selector David Graveney said: “This squad contains an exciting mix of young talent which we look forward to seeing perform on the world stage against top class opposition.
"It will be an excellent experience for these young players to develop their games in a world class environment, competing at the highest level in this prestigious tournament.”
